Bergamont E-Revox Pro EQ

The 2021 E-Revox Pro EQ from Bergamont is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for discerning riders. The model is priced at 3,299 EUR. The frame is made from an ultra-light AL-6061 tube set and is designed for 29-inch wheels. The integrated Bosch PowerTube battery ensures a sleek look and optimal weight distribution. The maximum permissible weight is 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg.

The necessary braking power is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes – specifically the BR-MT200 model with SM-RT30 rotors, each measuring 180 mm in diameter at both the front and rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano, model BL-MT201. The derailleur is a Shimano Deore RD-M5100 Shadow Plus with a 1x11-speed Rapidfire Plus shifter (SL-M5100). The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M5100 with a range of 11–51t.

Front suspension is provided by a Suntour XCR34 air fork with 100 mm of travel and adjustable rebound damping. The lighting comprises a Litemove SE front light with 70 lux and a Herrmans H-Trace Mini rear light, both LED models and specifically designed for e-bikes.

The bike is supplied without pedals. Power is transmitted via an FSA CK-320 crankset with 34 teeth and a length of 170 mm, combined with a KMC e11S drive unit. The handlebars are Syncros Hixon 2.0 Mini Riser handlebars, which are 740 mm or 720 mm wide depending on the frame size. The grips are Ergon GA20, the stem is a Syncros FL2.0 with an angle of +/-6 degrees, and the headset is a BGM F13-X, semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Alex EXR25, eyeletted and designed for disc brakes, with a width of 25 mm. The tyres are Maxxis Crossmark II EXO folding tyres, tubeless-ready and sized 29x2.25 inches. The hubs are Shimano HB-MT400-B and FH-MT400-B, both with Centre Lock disc mounts and 15x110 mm and 12x148 mm axles respectively. The spokes are Sapim Leader.

The saddle is an Ergon SM10 E-Mountain, fitted to a Syncros M3.0 seatpost. Racktime Wingee mudguards, a Syncros kickstand and a New Racktime / BGM luggage rack complete the specification.

The E-Revox Pro EQ is powered by a fourth-generation Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line CX Cruise motor with an output of 250 W at 36 V and maximum assistance up to 25 km/h. The battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is also from Bosch, whilst the display is the Bosch Purion model.

The frame geometry is well thought out: with a reach of 393 mm, a stack of 619 mm, a seat tube length of 420 mm, a top tube length of 582 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees, the bike offers a comfortable and efficient riding position. Other dimensions include a head tube length of 120 mm, a chainstay length of 480 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 69 mm, a fork offset of 45 mm, a top tube height of 751 mm, a fork installation height of 485 mm and a wheelbase of 1122 mm.
