Bergamont E-Horizon FS Edition

The 2022 E-Horizon FS Edition from Bergamont is a high-quality e-bike available for €4,299. It features a robust frame made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 aluminium, with a PowerTube battery and 80 mm of rear suspension travel. The maximum permissible weight is 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) with matching brake levers (BL-MT200) and a 180 mm front brake disc (SM-RT10). Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore RD-M4120 Shadow rear derailleur in combination with a 1x10-speed Shimano Deore SL-M4100 Rapidfire Plus shifter. The fork is a Suntour Mobie 25 Air with 100 mm of travel and a 15x100 mm axle system, whilst the rear shock is a Suntour UNAir R8 with 80 mm of travel and a lockout function.

Lighting is provided by a B&M Dopp front light with 35 lux and a B&M Toplight 2 C rear light. The pedals are made from aluminium for trekking bikes. The bottom bracket is from Bosch and is designed to the Isis standard. The crankset is an FSA CK-320 with 38 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 with a range of 11–42 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10S chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riserbars with a 15° backsweep and a 5 mm rise, complemented by BGM Comfort Ergo grips. The stem is also from BGM Pro and is adjustable. The headset is an FSA NO.57SC-1 A-Headset, semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Ryde Rival 23 Disc with eyelets; the tyres are Schwalbe Hurricane Addix with reflective stripes, size 57-622. The hubs are BGM Pro Centrelock Disc hubs with a 15x100 mm axle at the front and a 12x148 mm axle at the rear. The spokes are Sapim Leader.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Plus for men, mounted on a BGM Pro seatpost. The mudguards are Racktime Wingee, and the kickstand is by Syncros. The luggage rack is a Racktime/BGM model featuring the Snapit 2.0 system.

The E-Horizon FS Edition is powered by a fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an output of 250 W and a voltage of 36 V, enabling a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Bosch PowerTube featuring 36 V Li-ion technology and a capacity of 500 Wh. The display is a Bosch Purion, and the charger is a Bosch Compact Charger with a 2 A charging current.
