Bergamont E-Horizon Edition Amsterdam orange

The “E-Horizon Edition Amsterdam orange” from Bergamont, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike available for €2,999. The model features a 28-inch frame made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 tubing and is fitted with an integrated PowerTube battery. The maximum permissible weight is 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 25 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) with SM-RT10 rotors measuring 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The brake levers are also by Shimano (BL-MT200). The gear system consists of a Shimano Deore RD-M4120 Shadow with ten speeds, operated by Shimano Deore SL-M4100 Rapidfire Plus shifters.

Front suspension is provided by a Suntour NEX E25 fork with 63 mm of travel. The bike is lit by a B&M Dopp front light with 30 lux and a B&M Toplight 2 C rear light. The pedals are made of aluminium and are specially designed for trekking.

Power is provided by a third-generation Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line Cruise motor with an output of 250 W and a voltage of 36 V, enabling a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Bosch 36 V Li-Ion PowerTube with a capacity of 625 Wh, controlled via the Bosch Purion display.

The bike features an FSA CK-200 crankset with a 38t chainring and a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 cassette with 11–42t. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10S chain. The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a 15-degree rise and a height of 5 mm. The grips are BGM Comfort Ergo Double Density screw-on grips and the stem is adjustable between 17 and 25 degrees.

The headset is an FSA NO.57SC-1 A-Headset, semi-integrated and tapered. The rims are Ryde Rival 23 Disc, eyelet-style, fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres with reflective strips in size 47-622. The hubs are Shimano HB-MT200 Centre Lock Disc quick-release at the front and Shimano FH-MT200-B Centre Lock Disc quick-release at the rear, connected by Sapim Leader spokes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Plus, designed specifically for women, and is held in place by a BGM Pro seatpost. SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts are fitted to protect against dirt and water, and an SKS Chainbooster protects the chain. An Atran kickstand ensures the bike stands securely, whilst the Racktime / BGM Trekking Pro luggage rack with integrated mudguard mount offers additional storage space.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 395 mm, a stack of 605 mm, a seat tube length of 415 mm and a top tube length of 580 mm. The head tube angle is 70 degrees, the seat tube angle 73 degrees, the head tube length 130 mm, the chainstay length 473 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 60 mm, the fork offset is 50 mm, the top tube height is 527 mm, the fork installation height is 469 mm and the wheelbase measures 1116 mm.
