A rigid plastic frame distributes up to 80 per cent of the load on the hips, while the upper body and therefore the spine are noticeably relieved. The connection to the shoulder straps is provided by a ball joint, which largely decouples the rucksack from dynamic movements of the upper body.
Several test riders confirmed that this works: the "BC3" sets standards in terms of comfort. Properly adjusted, it offers less strain and more freedom of movement, especially during high-movement activities. However, the design takes up a lot of space: the size and weight of 1.8 kilograms are out of proportion to the 25 litre volume. Two sizes are available, one for men and one for women, which offer many additional customisation options.
The testers also liked the many pockets on the outside and inside and the helmet holder. Thanks to durable materials and good workmanship, the "BC3" makes a very robust impression; sealed zips kept the contents dry even in heavy rain.
