A mini-tool should be light, compact and handy and have as many tools on board as possible. TOUR tested a model from Crankbrothers, the M20.

The top model M20 from the latest M series from Crankbrothers combines a total of 20 tools, including a chain riveting tool and a box with five patches for tubeless tyres - all in a space measuring 85 x 50 x 30 millimetres. Respect.

We also liked the high-quality workmanship: all the tools are precisely manufactured and grip hexagon socket, Torx or Phillips screws accurately. One disadvantage of the very compact arrangement of the tools is that due to their short length, some screws are difficult to reach, for example on saddle clamps that are screwed at an angle from the top tube side. The price of 40 euros is still fair considering the quality and range of functions, and a slimmed-down and cheaper M13 version is also available.

+ Quality, range of functions

- Tool lengths short due to design, no tyre levers
