Test 2016: Topeak torque spanner
Compact torque spanners for travelling are rare, but they do exist - for example from Topeak. The tool is barely bigger than a biro.

The new Nano TorqBar is just under twelve centimetres long, 16 millimetres thick and weighs only 64 grams. The slim tool is available with a choice of preset torques of four, five or six Newton metres. Three hexagon socket bits with three, four and five millimetres as well as the T20 and T25 bits are included. Practical: The two most frequently used bits and the torque bit are stored in a compartment in the handle. The tool has a high-quality finish and the specified torques are accurate. Only the triggering noise when the torque is reached is so quiet that it is easy to miss when travelling on a busy road.

PLUS High-quality workmanship, compact, precise
MINUS Very quiet release noise
