Fitting accessories: How to do it right
Rattling panniers, falling pumps or loose bottle cages are not only annoying - they can even be dangerous in a group. TOUR shows you how to securely attach accessories.

Tool
- Hexagon socket spanner
- Torque spanner
- Knife

Auxiliary materials
- Grease
- Transparent adhesive film
- cable ties
- block of wood

TIPS

Protective layer: Transparent stickers protect areas from chafing, e.g. where mudguards are clamped or lashed down.

A matter of the head: Screws on the frame often do not fit the bottle cage of your choice, so the bottle will not fit. Replace the screws with ones with flat heads.

Typeface: The imprint on the sensor of radio speedometers usually indicates the mounting position - typically on the left-hand side so that the radio connection is as direct as possible.
