You will need:

  • Tool: Valve spanner, small open-end spanner or pliers, hand drill or countersink bit
  • Excipients: Insulating tape, rim tape, valve extension

1. it is now common knowledge that a racing valve must be unscrewed so that air can be pumped into the inside of the hose. However, some pumping attempts fail because the slightly sticky valve cones are not pushed in far enough to clear the flow.
