How to adjust the Campagnolo Athena EPS
With the Athena EPS, Campagnolo brings Italian component tradition, interpreted in a modern way, to the mid-range. TOUR gives you tips on how to adjust the rear derailleur and front derailleur and maintain the battery.

Level of difficulty for talented hobby mechanics

Tool
- 2 mm Allen key
- Phillips screwdriver

TIPS

- Grip width To position the levers a little further away from the handlebars for larger hands, Campa offers inserts that can be placed at the bottom of the Ergopower grip body towards the handlebars.
- Spare part Campa's brake levers are available individually as spare parts, for example if they have become unsightly after a fall.
- Home position The EPS front derailleur - like the mechanical Campa front derailleurs - must be positioned with the lower edge of its guide plate 1.5 to a maximum of 3 millimetres above the tooth tips of the large chainring. The outer guide plate must also be parallel to the chainrings.
- Control Shift through all gears in the assembly stand to check the function of the gears. Take a test ride on rough terrain to check the function of the components.
