The final 48 mm profile was chosen not only for its aerodynamic efficiency, but also for its predictable handling at different angles of attack (yaw angles) - especially in combination with wider tyres. At its heart is the tried-and-tested V-200 hub, which has been equipped with an improved locking pawl system for optimised engagement and greater reliability. Thanks to the redesigned hub, it is no longer necessary to adjust the bearing preload. The integrated press-fit end caps make maintenance easier and more user-friendly.
The centre lock mount ensures compatibility with modern disc brake systems, while various freehub options (including Shimano, SRAM XDR, Micro Spline and Campagnolo) guarantee seamless integration into current drivetrains.
