Test 2018: Hutchinson sealant for road bike tyres - Hutchinson tyre sealant in a practical test

The special thing about Hutchinson's latex milk is not so much the milk itself - the liquid works like any other and seals the tyre well when fitting or during minor punctures; however, we particularly like the dosing bottle: instead of the usual attached tip with which you have to drip the solution into the valve stem, it has a slightly larger opening that is sealed with a plastic membrane. This is placed over the valve stem and reliably seals the connection from the outside. A scale on the bottle makes dosing easier. The 120-millilitre bottle is sufficient for two MTB or four road bike tyres because not a single drop is wasted.
