miKit: Special valve for tubeless tyres
It's the milk that does it: The milKit valve from Switzerland is designed to make it easier to fill tubeless tyres with milk.

Despite certain advantages - in the best case less rolling resistance, better puncture protection and more cushioning - tubeless tyres are only slowly gaining acceptance among road cyclists. This is also and above all due to the cumbersome handling. Filling them with sealant and inflating them for the first time is much more complicated than the usual assembly of tube and tyre. The milKit valve from Switzerland provides a remedy. It has a membrane at the base of the rim through which a precisely measured amount of sealant is injected into the tyre using a syringe. The syringe can also be used to check how much milk is left in the tyre. The diaphragm also prevents the air from escaping immediately when the pressure is first built up with the compressor and the valve head unscrewed - the biggest advantage of the system. The manufacturer has paid dearly for this clever idea. The set with refill syringe and two valves costs 55.95 euros, without syringe two valves cost 29.95 euros. Available in 35, 55 and 75 millimetre lengths.

PLUS Filling and checking the milk quantity much easier, no air escaping when the valve head is unscrewed, no sticking of the valve
MINUS expensive
