The Schwalbe winter tyre has it under control
If you don't believe it, you should try it out: Studded tyres dramatically increase riding safety on snow and ice, especially on bikes.
The new Schwalbe tyre called "Winter" claws its way into the ground with two rows of studs and improves grip. The tyre is very easy to fit; the rolling noises on a snow-free surface naturally become annoying over time - here it helps to increase the air pressure to around five bar so that the studs have a little less contact with the road. When the snow cover is closed, lower the pressure again to around three bar.
