Valve extensions from Continental
With the valve extensions, which are available in various lengths from Continental and Schwalbe, the right valve length can be adapted for every aero wheel regardless of the rim height.
A tube or tubular tyre with a valve that can be unscrewed is required for mounting. With very high rims, it is sometimes necessary to screw several of the lightweight aluminium tubes together. The advantage over extensions that are screwed in front of the valve: No air can escape between the valve and extension when pumping.
