Cooling gel Ice Power
The "Ice-Power" cooling gel, which is available over the counter, can provide quick relief for minor aches and pains such as muscle burns, sore or tense muscles, headaches or bumps and bruises.

When applied to the skin, essential oils such as menthol and eucalyptus gradually lower the temperature at the site by reducing blood flow to the skin surface. This alleviates swelling and inflammation. At the same time, the gel is said to stimulate the metabolism and blood circulation deep down, thereby promoting healing processes. It is also said to reduce the sensation of pain for two hours, as cold stimulates the body's own endorphin production and blocks pain receptors. The soothing, refreshing cooling effect was noticeable when we tried it out. However, it may not be strong enough for more severe or longer-lasting pain. Nevertheless, applying cream for mild pain is better than swallowing tablets. The small tube fits in your jersey pocket.
