Cycling and music simply belong together. Whether motivating songs for roller training or relaxing sounds after training or competition: the right music makes every moment better - and the athlete more efficient. Music also helps with very long distances - because it has been proven to increase stamina.
This month: Jonas Deichmann
Jonas Deichmann can tell you a thing or two about it. Late last summer, the ultra-endurance athlete completed an incredible marathon ride from the North Cape in Norway to the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa (18,000 kilometres!!). Always with him: the right music, not just on the bike. "I'm in countries where music is part of the culture. In Africa there is music everywhere, people dance and are happy. It was very similar on the Panamerica last year," says Deichmann. Exclusively for TOUR, he provides a very private insight into his Endurance-Playlist.
