Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig has the biggest laugh in the Women's WorldTour. Her favourite songs for road bike training and before races are now available on the TOUR Spotify account

Cycling and music simply belong together. Whether motivating songs for roller training or relaxing sounds after training or competition: the right music makes every moment better - and the athlete more efficient. And: between tough competitions, music helps you to wind down and switch off before focussing on the next race.

This month: Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig

Denmark's Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig is one of the most influential figures in women's cycling. Her sporting achievements, including three Danish time trial titles in a row as well as victories in the UCI junior classification and as the best young rider and sixth overall in the renowned Giro Femminile, are impressive. No less impressive is her positive nature, which is expressed in numerous emotional videos.

Uttrup Ludwig beams even after the toughest competition when she talks about her beloved sport of cycling in an interview. After three years with Cervélo-Bigla, she has been bringing this positive mentality to the French team FDJ-Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope since the start of the 2020 season. A seventh place at Strade Bianche testifies to her good form after the long break due to the coronavirus. In 2020, she also won the mountain classification of the Giro d'Italia Femminile. In 2021, she won a stage at the Vuelta a Burgos Feminas.

Your Top Ten Playlist, which she comments on in detail in TOUR 10/2020, is a colourful mix of jazz, classical, rock and pop. Just click in and listen to Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig's favourite songs:
