The frame of Rose's new X-Light CDX disc brake racer offers a generous 32 millimetres of tyre clearance, rounding off the Bocholt-based manufacturer's range of marathon models. The carbon frame is based on the familiar Xeon Team CGF, but has been slightly redesigned. The design for thru axles made a new rear triangle necessary, so the characteristic kink in the seat stays has been removed. The Xeon CDV Cross model is also new. The frame offers a moderate riding position and lies on the borderline between competition crosser and gravel bike. Mounting eyelets for plates and racks also make it suitable for use as a sporty touring and touring bike. www.rosebikes.de
