The Bavarian manufacturer Cube is asking € 7,000 for its new top model Litening C:68. But nothing is spared. From the new Dura-Ace Di2 including disc brakes to carbon wheels from Newmen, everything a racing bike's heart desires is on board.
The manufacturing technology of the Litening C:68 SLT frame presented two years ago has been used at Cube particularly proud. The carbon composite has a particularly favourable ratio of fibres and resin and is therefore both light and stable. In 2017, the bike will also be available in a version with disc brakes. The best is just enough for the top-of-the-range Litening C:68 SLT Disc version, which will be available from spring 2017. The brand new Dura-Ace Di2 groupset is joined by carbon wheels from Newman, carbon components from Syntace and an Antares R3 saddle from Fizik. Cube puts the weight at 6.6 kilos and the price at 6,999 euros.
