The Col d'Agnes in the French Pyrenees
When crossing the French Pyrenees, the Col d'Agnes (1,570 m) is the most beautiful link between the Col de la Core in the west and the Col de Pailhères in the east.

Between the valley towns of Aulus-les-Bains and Vicdessos, a second hurdle awaits racing cyclists to the east of the Agnes: the 1,517 metre high Port de Lers; the depression between the two passes and the mountain lake embedded in it is a wonderful spot of nature. This is where another small road leads to the pass route from the north. This connection to the Col de Port and other small passes opens up a true touring paradise for racing cyclists through the Ariège-Pyrenees.
