The route from Wels to Steyr offers the best views of the Alps and challenges you with a climb to Weiß am Sattel.
Tour characteristics
The panorama of the Alps will accompany us for a long time on this tour, most beautifully on a high-level trail between Steinbach and Steyr. Ahead of this is the almost four-kilometre climb to Weiß am Sattel, which also offers great mountain views and covers 310 metres in altitude. Steyr, with its pretty old town centre, is the perfect place for a break. Your stomach shouldn't be too full, as the route then climbs almost 200 metres in altitude. After that, the hills ebb away to Wels.

- 0.0 Start Wels, Traunbrücke (bar "Isola Bella") | south, straight ahead at the roundabout, soon left: via Sipbachzell to Kremsmünster
- 15.7 left Kremsmünster, junction | Steyr, at the end of the town at 17.2 km turn right, sign "Panoramablick", next left: Föhrenleiten
- 25.4 left junction | Pfarrkirchen, next right: cycle path 10
- 28.7 left junction | Nußbach, after
- 400 m right: white at the saddle, left at the junction (not signposted)
- 41.1 left Grünburg | Steyr, before the tunnel turn right, in the village follow the main road, at the junction (km 42.6) turn right, next right: Ternberg
- 46.1 left Sandner Linde hill, junction | Aschach, straight ahead at fork (tree, bench): Garsten
- 55.0 left junction | cycle path 7 to Steyr
- 62.3 left Steyr, south end Stadtplatz | into Pfarrgasse, left at roundabout, right at traffic lights: Sattledt, left before subway, right before Aschach
- 72.3 right Aschach, junction | Sierning, next left: Frauenhofenstraße
- 74.9 right Sierning, junction |after 250 m left, at junction (km 76.0) right: Neuhofen
- 88.8 km right Neuhofen, junction | Linz, after 300 m left: Allhaming, there (Km 94.2) right: Pucking
- 97.4 km left junction | via Weißkirchen back. At 106.9 km do not turn right
