Built between 1930 and 1935, the 48-kilometre high Alpine road from Bruck to Heiligenblut is one of the most beautiful passes in the Alps for cyclists. On the one hand, because it leads through the Hohe Tauern National Park, where, with a bit of luck, you can spot marmots, golden eagles and bearded vultures. Secondly, the route is a real test of performance - and therefore also the highlight of the new TOUR Trans-Austria stage race, which starts in September. It connects the federal states of Salzburg and Carinthia and climbs almost 1,700 metres in altitude from Bruck to Fuscher Törl (2,428 m).
In the free PDF download you will find the route to the north and south ramps.
