Too few holiday days or too much respect for seven days of cycling in a row? If you want, you can also race for just three days. The 4-day challenge runs from 24 to 27 June. It starts in Lienz and ends in San Martino di Castrozza.
Stage 4: San Martino di Castrozza - Possagno (Level 5/5)
The fourth stage of the TOUR Transalp crosses the Passo Gobbera, the Passo Brocon and the Monte Grappa with a total altitude difference of over 3000 metres. The Passo Gobbera leads into the Valle de Vanoi. The following Passo Brocon covers almost 900 metres in altitude. The route leads via Castello Tesino and side roads to the Cimon river gorge near Fonzaso. Monte Grappa requires a 1500 metre ascent, largely through forest. The descent leads via Crespano del Grappa to Possagno at an altitude of 200 metres. The village lies on the southern edge of the Monte Grappa massif.
Stage 5: Possagno - Semonzo (Level 4/5)
The stage begins in the Prosecco hills around Valdobbiadine. The route leads along side roads to Monte Tomba at an altitude of 800 metres. From there, a narrow road runs through mountain pastures below the summit of Monte Grappa. After crossing a green basin, the route leads through renovated rock tunnels to the southern mountain faces. The descent runs via Campo Solagna to Romano d'Ezzelino. The last two kilometres to Semonzo are flat.
Stage 6: Semonzo - Lavarone (Level 4/5)
The sixth stage of the TOUR Transalp 2026 leads to the Sette Communi plateau and Alpe Cimbra. From the river Brenta, the route leads through the Valstagna with 800 metres of ascent to Foza. The route runs through the plateau via Asiago and Rotzo. The descent into Valdastico is via Pedescala. The ascent back to the plateau leads via Arsiereo and Tonezza to Malga Melgnon at an altitude of 1500 metres. It is another five kilometres to Lavarone via the Passo del Sommo and a descent to Carbonare.
Stage 7: Lavarone - Riva del Garda (Level 4/5)
The final stage includes 1800 metres of elevation gain over around 80 kilometres. The route leads over the Passo del Sommo (250 metres in altitude) to Folgaria. The route leads via Serrada and Guardia into the Rio Cavallo valley, followed by a descent to Calliano in the Adige valley and a climb of 1100 metres to Passo Bordala. The descent leads into the Val di Gresta to Ronzo-Chienis. The Passo Santa Barbara is the last pass 1000 metres above Lake Garda. After a few flat kilometres, the route reaches the port of Riva del Garda via Bolognano.
The TOUR Transalp offers three different variants for different time budgets:
3-Day-Challenge (21 - 23 June) The shortest version of the TTA! As part of the legendary TOUR Transalp with 600 starters, the route leads across the Alps in 3 stages and offers the ultimate feeling of crossing the Alps on a racing bike. The route covers approx. 350 km and 6,000 metres in altitude on a breathtaking route.
4-day challenge (24 - 27 June) If you want to experience the queen's stage and experience the Transalp feeling right up to the finish, the 4-day challenge is the perfect option. The route covers a crisp 500 km and 8,000 metres in altitude and ends with an unforgettable finish including a closing party.
The classic - TOUR Transalp (21 - 27 June) The 22nd TOUR Transalp offers the legendary crossing of the Alps from Germany to Italy. A total of 750 km and 15,000 metres in altitude have to be mastered before the finisher jersey is presented after 7 days. An unforgettable experience for all participants!
