With world champion Lotte Kopecky and sprint specialist Lorena Wiebes, the team has two absolute top riders. With many victories this season, SD Worx has already made a clear statement. The experienced Anna van der Breggen, four-time winner of the women's Giro d'Italia, switched from the sporting director's car back into the racing saddle at the start of the season. The talented climber Mischa Bredewold has already won the Amstel Gold Race this season and is considered a great hope for the mountain stages. Elena Cecchini and Blanka Vas are two strong helpers.
Lotte Kopecky, the world champion of the past two years, won the Tour of Flanders 2025, but is still searching for her dominance of the 2023 and 2024 seasons. The rider recently had to pull out of the Giro d'Italia with back problems and has not raced since.
But it's not just the top stars that make the team so strong. Marta Lach from Poland has already won the Nokere Koerse one-day race. Hungarian Blanka Vas, who has already won stages at the Giro Donne and the Tour de France Femmes in the past, showed her potential with second place at the Trofeo Alfredo Binda. This breadth in the line-up should be a decisive advantage in the Tour de France Femmes. With the departure of Demi Vollering, however, it could be difficult to win the Tour. Although Anna van der Breggen can compete for the Tour podium, it probably won't be enough for the top.
