The US Women's WorldTour team is presumably relying above all on the qualities of the young Italian Barbara Malcotti and the Dutchwoman Thalita de Jong. Both riders have already attracted attention with strong performances this season and are now aiming for further success in the prestigious Tour of France. Malcotti recently achieved a strong result with her eighth place at the Giro d'Italia. De Jong has also shown consistently solid results this season. It probably won't be enough to finish at the top of the overall standings, but a good position and a stage win seem to be within the realms of possibility.
Ruth Edwards is also likely to play an important role in the Human Powered Health line-up. The 32-year-old, who won the Thüringen Lotto Ladies Tour in 2024, has a wealth of experience in road cycling. Her versatility makes her a valuable support for Malcotti and de Jong in the mountains, but also on the flat.
