Evolution instead of revolution: The Plasma 3 is based on the already aerodynamically excellent Plasma 2, winner of the 2009 TOUR Aero Test. Some details have been largely adopted, such as the lowered, distinctively twisted chainstays. However, much is new. The cut-out in the down tube for the front wheel has been omitted, the integrated seat dome has been replaced by a height-adjustable seat post that stands almost vertically in the wind. The rear brake now sits behind the bottom bracket. The wind tunnel shows that there is a lot of calculation behind the changes: First place in the aero test - with an extremely narrow lead over Cervélo. The handlebar positioning concept can be optimised. The frame set includes a special stem, which is only available in two lengths, each with a 40 millimetre rise.
