The highlight of the new collection is the SLR Boost 3D. This saddle was developed using Carbon DLS technology and has a special cover manufactured using a 3D printing process. The special feature is the white colouring, as 3D-printed components are usually manufactured in black. According to Selle Italia, the cover has differentiated damping zones, which should enable progressive damping over the entire surface.
All four models in the White Range are equipped with carbon struts and recesses in the centre of the saddle. This design is intended to ensure optimum weight distribution and pressure relief. The Flite Boost and the SLR Boost are among the classics in the Selle Italia range and have already proven themselves in racing for many professionals. The Novus Boost Evo is aimed at riders who prefer a slightly wider seat. All models are made entirely in Italy, the manufacturer emphasises.
The saddles in the White Range will be available from authorised dealers and via the official Selle Italia website from May. The recommended retail prices are as follows:
With this expansion of the range, Selle Italia is responding to the trend towards more colour variety in cycling. The white saddles offer cyclists the opportunity to colour-coordinate their bike and at the same time benefit from the Italian manufacturer's proven technology. The SLR Boost 3D in particular, with its 3D-printed cover in white, is an innovation that was previously not available on the market in this form.
