Specialized is now offering a comprehensive saddle test programme at a total of 98 dealers in Germany, 14 in Austria, 19 in Switzerland and one dealer in Luxembourg so that buying a saddle doesn't turn into roulette. There you can borrow saddles for testing. A detailed list of participating dealers can be found on the Specialized website under "Dealerlocator". The test programme includes the road bike models "Avatar", "Romin", "Toupe" and "Jett", as well as an equally large range of MTB saddles, each available in widths of 130, 143 and 155 millimetres. The right width for your individual needs is determined by the dealer using a gel seat pad. How many saddles you can borrow from your local dealer and for how long is a matter for negotiation, depending on the dealer's offer and demand during the season. The service is free of charge and there is no obligation to buy.
