Test 2015: Fizik Aliante saddle
The Aliante saddle from Fizik is now in its 15th year. Right from the start, it has found its fans primarily among cyclists who like to be comfortable.
Although the saddle cover on the current model is slightly less flexible than on the first models, its pronounced longitudinal and transverse curve profile has remained. The spoiler-like rear and the grippy saddle cover provide support when riding uphill, while the characteristic transverse curvature should suit riders with a sit bone distance of up to around eleven centimetres. Our 230 gram test saddle with a metal frame has a seven centimetre adjustment range and is top quality. The 199 euro version with a carbon frame weighs around 50 grams less.
