TOUR practical test: Fizik Volta R3 saddle
Designers from the Italian saddle manufacturer Fizik have scanned successful saddles from past years such as Rolls, Regal or Strada from Selle San Marco to discover the secret of the shape of these classics.

The results of the measurements were then transferred to the new Volta, which, with its narrow shape, should appeal primarily to cyclists who enjoy riding the aforementioned models. Due to the slim saddle cover, the saddle should suit cyclists with a narrow sit bone distance of up to ten centimetres. The saddle is available with an oval carbon frame (model R1, 172 grams) and with a round metal frame.

PLUS classic saddle shape; workmanship
MINUS expensive

Price 250/169 Euro (Volta R1/Volta R3)
