Single test: Fizik Antares saddle
The Fizik Antares represents a good compromise between form and comfort.

Fizik's new "Antares" model ranks between the brand's two other "A" saddles, "Arione" and "Aliante", in terms of shape, padding and 149 grams in weight. At 27 centimetres, the "Antares" is three centimetres shorter than the "Arione", while the seat is two centimetres wider at ten centimetres. Its upholstery is thinner than the "Aliante" and completely flat. The carbon seat stays have a highly oval cross-section. Suitable seatposts that securely clamp this shape of strut are, for example, the "P6" from Syntace or Ritchey's "WCS Carbon 1-Bolt" with the corresponding adapter. In particular, riders who find the Aliante too soft and the Arione too narrow should get on well with this saddle.

PLUS: Good compromise between shape and comfort

MINUS: Frame shape not suitable for all seat posts
