Saddle test 2015: Cannondale's new Fabric brand
The Scoop Flat Elite scores with a good all-round fit and a large adjustment range.

Cannondale now also has its own saddle brand - more precisely, the parent company Cycling Sports Group. It sells all kinds of seats under the name Fabric, with which it equips Cannondale bikes as standard, but they are also available for retrofitting. We tested the Scoop Flat Elite from the cheapest line in the range, which comprises a total of 13 models between 60 and 350 euros. The saddle cover has a flat design with a slightly rising rear, the padding feels comfortable to hard. The saddle width should suit riders whose sit bones are 11 to 13 centimetres apart. The testers liked the contour of the rear section, which provides pleasant support when riding uphill. The saddle
is well made, the adjustment range is generous at 70 millimetres in length. Weighing a good 245 grams, the saddle is not particularly light, but this is reasonable for the price of 60 euros.

PLUS All-round fit; large adjustment range; workmanship
