The AX-Lightness Endurance saddle in a long-term test
Carbon saddles are often said to be light, but also hard as a rock. The Endurance model from AX-Lightness, weighing 83 grams including anti-slip fabric tape, definitely confirms the former - but disproves the latter.

Thanks to the successful contour with broad support for the sit bones and a wide range of adjustability in the frame, it suits many riders. It is pleasant that the sides of the saddle are pulled down far. This prevents the rubbing pain that occurs with some saddles where the shell has been significantly reduced at the sides for weight reasons. Another reason for the comfort of the Endurance is its suspension properties. Because the saddle is high, there is enough space between the saddle and all the supports so that the Endurance can fully utilise its suspension travel. One disadvantage is its smooth surface, which does not provide sufficient grip even with some cycling shorts, but especially in the rain. Here you have to improvise and create the necessary grip with anti-slip fabric tape.
