The unconventional concept has many fans, especially among time trialists and triathletes; Lance Armstrong also sat on an Adamo during time trials in his last season. However, the manufacturer emphasises that the saddle should also be suitable for normal racing bikes. It can take some time to find the right setting. In the practical test on the time trial bike, we had to adjust the position several times. In the end, we found a slightly downward sloping saddle position that was pushed relatively far forwards to be comfortable. There was no numbness, which is otherwise quite common in the time trial position. However, there was some pressure in the perineal area, but it was bearable. Some forums report that the large width at the front leads to friction between the thighs. As with any saddle, try it out before you buy if possible.
