Ergon suspension support in the TOUR practical test
Conventional seatposts can bounce a little if they are not too thick (27.2 millimetres) and are mounted relatively far out. The new CF3 carbon seatpost from Ergon offers a constructive approach for more comfort on the saddle.

Its leaf spring construction gives way visibly on uneven ground. What feels like riding a fat tyre at low air pressure in the saddle is translated into impressive full figures by our test bench in the laboratory: The seatpost bounces a good 14 millimetres under the test load of 100 kilos. That is more than twice as much as Ritchey's Superlogic carbon seatpost, for example. It should be noted that the minimum extension length must be 15 centimetres - otherwise the Bla tt spring will not work.
