The "Ass Savers" mudguard in the TOUR test
If a cyclist's backside is exposed to water bombardment from the rear wheel on wet roads, this can become extremely unpleasant in the long run. The Ass Savers are designed to prevent this.

Ass Savers are small mudguards that simply clip into the back of the saddle frame. Measuring around 7 x 34 centimetres and weighing just 15 grams, the plastic protectors are very flexible and fit into almost any saddle frame. If they are too large, the shape can be cut to size using scissors. During small rain showers or afterwards, the protectors, which are available in ten different colours, are sufficient to effectively keep the splash water off your backside.
