Individual test 2016: Road bike saddle from SQ-Lab
According to our test experience, the Ergowave active could be a recommendation for sensitive contemporaries in particular.

It fitted our test rider perfectly straight away. The slightly raised rear, the additional step and the recess in the centre (called a dip) combine to create a convincing concept in this case: no annoying sliding back and forth, no pressure points in the sensitive area. The current model with titanium struts is still relatively heavy, but a carbon model is due to follow in the course of the summer - with almost half the weight. If you don't mind the somewhat unconventional look and find it difficult to find a suitable saddle, you should definitely try one out.

PLUS Perfect ergonomics, pleasant surface
MINUS somewhat heavy with titanium frame; possibly not UCI-compliant due to the height difference of more than one centimetre between saddle tip and saddle tail

Price 150 Euro
Weight from 272 grams
Widths 12, 13, 14, 15 centimetres
