Haibike Challenge Life
The technically good, attractively painted carbon frame is the strength of the Haibike Challenge Life.

Although it is not noticeably short even in the smallest size 44, the actual riding position is more upright than necessary for the taste of the testers. The reason for this is the stem, which is only 80 millimetres short and which the dealer will replace with a longer one if necessary. The brakes and gears from the new Shimano 105 groupset work perfectly, and the 32 sprocket motivates you to go on extended mountain pass tours. The simple Shimano crankset looks slightly inferior to the 105 parts, but does not impair the function. Aksium wheels from Mavic with well-damping 25-millimetre tyres are a good choice for this price range. The riders agreed that they didn't like the thin handlebars at all.

CONCLUSION
ManuelaI couldn't cope with the short stem. I sat too upright and couldn't get the power to the pedals.
IsabelThe bike is generally okay. However, I sat too short and the handlebars are uncomfortable to grip.
