Specialised Dolce Comp 2014
Versatile, well-damped bike with a comfortable riding position and mountain-ready gearing. Quite a lot of sizes, heavy.

Specialized's women's model Dolce is somewhat out of competition: the bike is aimed less at sport and racing and more at touring and everyday cycling. It is consistently designed for this purpose. Thanks to wide folding tyres, a comfortable saddle, easy-to-grip handlebars and plenty of seat post extension for good suspension, women can sit comfortably and relaxed even on longer rides. The angle-adjustable stem allows the riding position to be customised to a certain extent. Further arguments are the mountain-compatible gear ratio, stable wheels that can also carry luggage and a variable frame with threads for mudguards and rear pannier rack; unfortunately these are missing on the fork. You have to accept the rather high weight of more than nine kilos.
