A carbon racer with disc brakes for 1,600 euros? Not a misprint and proof that Giant - the manufacturer behind Liv - is extremely price-aggressive, especially when it comes to entry-level models.

The lightweight frame with a touring-orientated riding position is not the stiffest. However, for the weight class to which most women who fit on this bike belong, this has no significant consequences. Apart from the heavy clincher tyres, the equipment is high quality and well thought out. The riders particularly liked the handlebars, which are only 37 centimetres wide, and the comfortable saddle. The mechanical disc brakes from TRP, which are actually good, disappointed when new with poor braking performance and only reached their full power after intensive braking.

CONCLUSION
ManuelaA real fun bike - except for the disc brakes, which don't brake properly when new.
IsabelSuper for long tours. The narrow handlebars fit me perfectly.
