With a complete 105 groupset except for the brakes, the beautifully painted Cube is spectacularly well equipped for the low price.

The manufacturer has saved on the simple, very stiff aluminium frame, which theoretically allows a relatively sporty riding position. However, because the seat post and short saddle frame severely limit the adjustment options for the saddle, you sit shorter and more upright than the frame geometry would suggest. The riding pleasure is spoilt by the extreme hardness of the saddle, which is mainly due to the oversized seatpost. The bike would be much more comfortable with a lightweight carbon seatpost (preferably with more offset). The testers praised the precise gearing (with 32 sprockets) and criticised the sluggish rear brake, which is caused by an unfavourable cable routing.

CONCLUSION
Manuela: I immediately realised that the bike is very hard. The handlebars are too wide and too thin.
Isabel: The rear brake is very stiff. The soft saddle is certainly comfortable for beginners.
