Rapha’s new Pro Team collection is called “Against Better Judgement” – against all reason. It has been designed for cyclists who don’t ease off, even when temperatures drop, it gets dark or the weather turns wet. The four garments are designed to offer reliable protection from the elements during months of intense training.
Long-sleeved jersey and thermal jacket
The Pro Team Long Sleeve Midweight Jersey II costs 195 euros and serves as a versatile layer for changing seasons. The fabric is designed to wick moisture away and keep you comfortably warm. A newly designed hem keeps the jersey in place. It features three back pockets and a zipped pocket for valuables. The Pro Team Thermal Jacket, priced at 240 euros, offers protection in cold conditions thanks to wind- and water-repellent front panels with a C0-DWR coating. A two-way zip allows for temperature regulation. The stretchy back panel is designed to offer comfort, whilst reflective branding enhances visibility.
Rapha Rain Jacket and Cargo Tights
The Pro Team GORE-TEX Lightweight rain jacket weighs 128 grams in size M and costs 350 euros. It is designed for temperatures between 1 and 15 degrees Celsius and is intended to protect against heavy rain and wind. The three-layer ripstop fabric is abrasion-resistant and breathable, whilst heat-sealed seams provide additional protection against the elements. The jacket packs down small. The Pro Team Lightweight Cargo Tights, priced at 250 euros, feature tightly woven fabric across the entire leg area, designed to block out cold draughts. Two integrated leg pockets provide storage space for energy bars or other items.
