The advantages of the Air-X-Plorer Digi 10.0 floor pump from SKS are good readability and a precise display of the air pressure values. We can confirm the former straight away: The orange digits are nice and large and easy to read in any ambient light.
The new SKS floor pump is also impressive in terms of precision, which we tested with a precision manometer. When pumping itself, however, it is annoying that the value fidgets wildly compared to an analogue display and it takes routine to hit the desired pressure value exactly - a disadvantage of all digital pumps.
We liked the pump head with its easy-to-use clamping lever, the relatively long tube and the wide pump handle, which allows you to inflate any tyre up to a maximum pressure of ten bar without leaving pressure marks on your palms. Another positive aspect is SKS's well-stocked spare parts service. The pump is well made, only the transition from the pump cylinder to the base could be a little stiffer.
