At 59.99 euros, the NG Sports Cawacawa is the cheapest candidate in our test of seven mini compressors - but comes last in the overall ranking. If you don't focus too much on top technical performance and are mainly on a budget, this candidate is still a bargain for the bare essentials.

Price cracker with clear weaknesses

The NG Sports Cawacawa positions itself as a budget option in the test field and, at 59.99 euros, clearly undercuts all competitors. Its pumping performance of 61 seconds for four bars with a 30-millimetre tyre is still within an acceptable range, while it needs 155 seconds for seven bars. The biggest problem is revealed in the battery performance: with only 2.6 tyres per charge, it clearly falls down in the head-to-head race and receives the weakest score in the test (4.0). While other candidates manage four or more tyres, the Cawacawa has to be plugged in much more often - a clear disadvantage in terms of endurance.

Basics available, overall package expandable

In terms of handling and display, the NG Sports achieved a below-average score of 2.8, but the operation is basically functional. The equipment with standard adapter, hose and silicone cover is solid, but lacks extras such as an integrated light. With a weight of 147 grams and compact dimensions of 28 x 54 x 109 millimetres, it is one of the smaller candidates. The overall TOUR score of 3.3 reflects its position at the bottom of the league. Conclusion: If you only need to patch a flat tyre occasionally and want to save money, you will find a functional basic kit here - more demanding users are better off choosing the better-rated competitors.

This is our conclusion about the Cawacawa

At 60 euros, the Cawacawa is the cheapest pump in the test, but also has the weakest overall performance. With one battery charge, it only reliably pumps two tyres to four bar; on the third run, it ran out of air at 2.5 bar. In the seven-bar test, the housing heated up to over 60 degrees and took just under three minutes to do so - significantly slower than the competition. The display provides information on the most important values, but appears less sharp and rich in contrast. One positive aspect is the short charging time: the battery is fully ready for use again after around 30 minutes. Overall functional, but less powerful than the competition.
