Individual test: CO² pump from Genuine Innovations
The American manufacturer specialises in mini pumps that also work like cartridges. We tried out the "Second Wind", an 18 centimetre long, 64 gram mini pump with a carbon cylinder.

The scope of delivery includes a 16 gram CO2 cartridge, which rests screwed into the end of the handle during transport. In the event of a puncture, the cartridge then serves as a handle - or if you need to do it quickly, you can arm the air charge by screwing it into the thread on the valve side. Once you have placed the head on the valve, you can regulate the air flow by slowly unscrewing the cartridge. Both variants worked well in practice. As a handle extension, the cartridge improves the handling of the mini pump, six or seven bar pressure can be built up easily. When the cartridge is in place, you can hold the pump system firmly with both hands and fix the valve head securely over the valve without compressed air escaping unintentionally. A frame holder is supplied.

PLUSvery safe handling; high-quality and solid mini pump
