Tadej Pogacar did not ride the typical red and black Colnago at the Road World Championships in Zurich, but a colourful one. The colour scheme is reminiscent of the most important victories of his career. The "V4Rs Tadej" is also available from dealers in limited numbers - at a considerable price, of course.

With the eye-catching paintwork the Slovenian superstar won the road race on 29 September in Switzerland. Technically, the Bolide is no different from the machines on which Pogacar usually sits, although it is likely to be slightly heavier with its lavish coat of paint.

Each colour at least one win

The colour scheme is reminiscent of the design of Pop Art artworks, of which Pogacar is said to be a big fan, and recalls the most important victories of his successful career:

  • Yellow for three overall Tour de France victories (2020, 2021, 2024)
  • Pink for the Giro d'Italia victory in 2024 and the leader's jersey on 20 of 21 stages
  • Green for the Tours of Lombardy 2021, 2022 and 2023 and Liège-Bastogne-Liège 2021 and 2024
  • Light blue for Paris-Nice 2023
  • Blue for Tirreno-Adriatico 2021 and the mountain jersey at the Giro 2024
  • White for the overall ranking of the best young professional at the Tour de France from 2020 to 2023
  • Red scored for the mountain jersey of the Tour de France 2020 and 2021
  • Bronze for the bronze medals at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo and the 2023 World Championships in Glasgow and
  • Purple ... because Tadej Pogacar is supposedly of the opinion that you always need something purple in your life.

For sale in original equipment

Pogacar itself is said to have been involved in the design, and a new feature is its own logo with the initials TP, which is located on the top tube and on the seat knot. The equipment corresponds to that of the professional bike with Shimano Dura-Ace groupset and Enve SES 4.5 wheels. The eye-catching tuning parts from the manufacturer Carbon-Ti, which Pogacar uses for racing, are also fitted: Carbon chainrings, brake discs, gold thru-axles with engraving and the same bottle cage bolts are additions from the Italian tuning company. The Enve wheels come with matching logos printed in the same colour scheme as the bike. The Prologo saddle is also a special model with yellow applications and the TP logo.
