Just like sprint king Jonathan Milan (Lidl - Trek), overall leader Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates - XRG) has also been kitted out with a uniquely designed bike for the final stage of the Tour de France 2025 in Paris.

The Slovenian rode the Colnago Y1Rs onto the Champs Élysée in a special yellow livery, as his outfitter Colnago announced in advance. In addition to the main yellow colour, the world champion stripes are also part of the design, as seen on his white and black frame during the Tour de France.

Due to its paintwork, the bike is likely to be 100 to 200 grams heavier than his previous black machine and break the 7.5-kilogram mark - possibly a disadvantage on the new route over Montmartre. However, it is doubtful whether this difference in weight was the decisive factor. Pogačar clearly did everything he could to win the stage in Paris, but in the end he was beaten by a too strong Wout van Aert and also let Davide Ballerini (XDS Astana Team) and Matej Mohorič (Bahrain - Victorious) pass him.
