Based on the jersey worn by the Mercier team in the 1960s, Alpecin-Fenix took part in the 2021 Tour de France. This honours the French cycling legend Raymond Poulidor, the grandfather of Mathieu van der Poels.

Sponsors particularly like to bask in the glamour of the Tour de France and advertise themselves and their products on the jerseys of the professionals. Some teams therefore present themselves in special jerseys. This year's themes include: climate neutrality, crypto blockchain, smart ovens and a tribute to the eternal Tour runner-up Raymond "Poupou" Poulidor.

However, the team will once again be wearing its usual red colour - the white jerseys will be destroyed. The jersey can be purchased online as a digital crypto artwork until 5 July.

With the X-Bo, Bora has introduced a new, smart oven, which of course should not be missing on the jerseys of the cycling team of the same name.

Team Jumbo-Visma was not allowed to start in the yellow team colours, which is why fans were able to vote on an alternative design. The choice fell in favour of black - outfitter AGU had to develop a special black material that would not heat up too much under the French sun.
