A strong line-up: Uno-X Mobility consists exclusively of Norwegian and Danish professionals – proof that Scandinavia has always produced some very good cyclists.
Through perseverance and strong performances, the Norwegian Team 2026 has risen to join the ranks of the World Tour teams and was already on the verge of breaking into the top ten this spring. Last year, Jonas Abrahamsen also secured the team’s first stage victory at the Tour de France – a long-awaited achievement for team manager Thor Hushovd. The other key riders in the team with the most recent successes are Soren Waerenskjold, the peloton’s veteran Alexander Kristoff, Magnus Cort, Andreas Leknessund and Erlend Blikra. However, the latter broke his ribs and collarbone during the Giro d’Italia and is likely to be sidelined for some time. In Tobias Halland Johannessen, the Norwegians also have a rider capable of finishing in the top ten of the general classification; at last year’s Tour de France, the 26-year-old secured an excellent sixth place. His twin brother Anders possesses very similar abilities.
