The 2024 Women's Tour de France starts in Rotterdam in the Netherlands on 12 August. From there, the riders will battle their way through eight stages until they finally reach the grand finale at the mountain finish in the mythical Alpe d'Huez.
Cycling fans can watch all stages of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes on TV and via live stream on the internet. The Tour de France Femmes will be broadcast on free-to-air TV on ARD and Eurosport 1. Both channels are free-to-air. There is a special feature this year on the second day (13 August). There will be two stages in one day. The second stage over 69.7 kilometres (a mass start stage) will be held in the morning, followed by a 6.3 kilometre individual time trial in the afternoon.
All eight stages can also be watched in the free live stream on sportschau.de and in the ARD media centre.
Florian Naß will be commentating on the Tour de France Femmes 2024 for ARD. The 56-year-old sports journalist was also present at the men's Tour de France and the Olympic Games this year. Naß will be supported by Clara Koppenburg - herself a professional cyclist in the service of EF-Oatly-Cannondale. Presenter Stephanie Müller-Spirra will host the ARD programmes.
The women's Tour de France will also be broadcast on free-to-air TV in Germany on Eurosport 1. In addition, Eurosport offers a digital service via the Discovery Plus streaming platform, where all stages can be followed live. The commentators for the broadcasts are Gerhard Leinauer, Christian Lichtenberg and Lisa Brennauer.
